Stories and highlights
There's always something to celebrate at our school! From exciting events to proud moments and everyday wins, here are some of our highlights.
Far North Coast Dance Festival
Recently, our Stage 2 & Stage 3 Dance Crews showcased their talents at the Far North Coast Dance Festival held at Twins Towns in Tweed Heads. We are incredibly proud of how they embraced every rehearsal and brought this vibrant, high-energy routine to life. Their commitment, teamwork, and enthusiasm shone through from start to finish, representing Cudgen Public School with outstanding spirit.
State Championship!
At Cudgen Public School, sport is a vital part of our community, promoting teamwork, resilience, and school pride. Despite our smaller size, we have built a strong sporting reputation through dedication and community support.
A shining example of this is Koa and Hunter, who excelled at the North Coast Rugby League trial in Coffs Harbour. They will proudly represent Cudgen at the NSW PSSA State Rugby League Championship starting 16th June in Parkes.
Special congratulations to Koa for achieving this Rugby League milestone for the second time, and to Hunter for his third! Hunter was selected for the U11s in 2024, both boys for the U11s in 2025, and now both have earned their spots in the Opens squad this year.
Their commitment and sportsmanship inspire us all. Well done, boys – we’re cheering you on every step of the way!
